Australia belongs to the group of Atomy markets where the registration screen does not follow one fixed layout — unlike the US, where Distributor is reliably first, or the UK and Philippines, where Consumer leads. For Australian readers that means one habit matters more than any step-by-step: read the option labels, find Consumer or Member, and ignore where it sits on the screen. The rest of the process is short, free, and much less complicated than people expect.
The label-reading habit
Atomy’s sign-up screens are built per market, and the ordering of registration types genuinely differs. We have measured some markets and can state their order confidently. Australia is not one of them, and we would rather say so than invent a detail you would then trust.
What works everywhere:
- Consumer or Member — the shopping-side registration. Either wording means the same thing.
- Distributor — the business-side registration, wherever it appears in the list.
- Position tells you nothing. The first option on screen is not necessarily the recommended one. In the American flow, it is the one most people select by accident.
If you look at the options and cannot tell which is which, stop before submitting and ask us. It takes a minute and saves an account change later.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. This applies in every Atomy market without exception. There is no under-18 tier and no guardian-signed alternative.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no joining fee, no starter kit, no first-order requirement, no annual renewal, and no monthly minimum to stay a member.
Australia has a well-developed regulatory environment for direct selling and Australians are, sensibly, cautious about anything that requires money up front. The good news is that this claim is trivially verifiable — walk the registration through and observe that no payment screen appears. We list no Australian dollar figures anywhere on this site, because pricing is set per market and changes. Check your country’s official Atomy mall for current figures after you have logged in.
The registration steps
- Open our sign-up page and select Australia. This routes you to the Australian gate rather than an international landing page.
- Read the registration options and choose by name. Look for Consumer or Member.
- Accept the membership terms and privacy consent.
- Enter your details. Full legal name, date of birth, Australian address including state and postcode, mobile number, and email.
- Set your login credentials and store them properly.
- If a branch or centre field appears, choose ํ์ด์กฐ์ (Pyeongchon Joeun). Not every country’s flow includes this step, so it may not be there at all. If it is, that is the entry to use.
- Submit and confirm. Note your member number once issued.
Australian specifics
Mobile number format
Australian mobile numbers are usually written locally with a leading zero, but forms sometimes expect the country-code form instead. If the field rejects your number, try the alternative convention before assuming a fault.
State and postcode
Select your state from the dropdown rather than typing it, and enter the four-digit postcode in its own field. Address fields compressed into one line are the most common cause of downstream delivery trouble.
Distance and delivery
Australia is geographically large and delivery experience varies considerably between metropolitan and regional addresses. This is not something your registration choice affects, but it is worth setting expectations about before your first order rather than after.
New Zealand readers
New Zealand is a separately supported market with its own registration link, and it belongs in the same “read the labels” group as Australia. Do not register through the Australian gate if you live in New Zealand — select New Zealand on our sign-up page instead.
Which registration type to pick
The confusion here is almost entirely caused by the word “Distributor,” which suggests warehousing and selling obligations. It carries neither. Registering as a Distributor means you are recorded on the business side of the structure as well as the shopping side. No inventory, no quota, no sales requirement.
Nonetheless, most Australians should register as a Consumer. The reason is simple and often misstated: Distributor registration does not give you better pricing. Both types shop at the same member pricing. There is therefore no shopping advantage to choosing the more involved option, and Consumer leaves the business question open until you have real information.

After you join
Membership does not lapse because you stopped buying. There is no monthly obligation attached to keeping the account open, and no purchase required to remain registered.
The most honest way to evaluate any of this is to log in, look through the product categories, and buy one thing you already replace regularly — toothpaste, shampoo, something with an obvious comparison point in your existing shopping. Then judge it yourself.
If something goes wrong
Australian registration issues cluster around three things: mobile number format, a postcode or state entered incorrectly, and confirmation emails filtered into spam. Work through those first, and try a second browser with autofill disabled.
