Canada sits in a different category from the US, UK, and Philippine flows. In those markets we can tell you exactly which registration option appears first. In Canada the arrangement varies, which means the honest instruction is not “tap the second tab” but “read the labels and look for Consumer or Member.” That sounds like a weaker answer. It is actually the more useful one, and this page explains how to navigate a screen whose layout we will not pretend to have memorised for you.
Why we won’t tell you which tab to press
Sign-up screens are not identical across Atomy’s markets. In the United States, Distributor is presented first and Consumer second. In the Philippines and the UK, Consumer leads. India has no Consumer option whatsoever — only Individual Distributor and Corporate Distributor. Canada, along with Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia, does not follow one fixed pattern we are willing to state as fact.
So the reliable technique is positional-independent:
- Look for the word Consumer, or Member. Either wording indicates the shopping-side registration.
- Distributor means the business side. Whatever position it occupies.
- Do not assume the first option is recommended. In at least one major market it is the one most people did not intend to choose.
If the only options presented look like variants of Distributor with no Consumer or Member equivalent, do not force your way through. Stop and ask us before submitting. Some markets are structured that way deliberately and it changes what you are agreeing to.
The requirement that never varies
Eighteen or older. Every Atomy market, no exceptions, no junior accounts, no guardian workaround. This is the one rule that does not shift between countries.
What joining costs in Canada
Nothing at all. No joining fee, no starter kit, no compulsory first order, no annual renewal, no monthly minimum to stay registered. Canadian readers who have looked at other direct-selling companies will find this unusual, and the way to confirm it is simply to walk the registration through and notice that no payment step arrives.
If a page asks for card details before you have an account, you are not in the official flow. Back out and restart from our sign-up page.
We publish no Canadian dollar figures on this site. Pricing is set per market and changes — check your country’s official Atomy mall once you can log in.
Step by step
- Start at our sign-up page and choose Canada. This takes you to the Canadian gate rather than a generic international page you would then have to navigate out of.
- Read the registration options carefully. Find Consumer or Member by name. Take the extra ten seconds here.
- Accept the terms and privacy consent.
- Enter your details. Legal name as it appears on ID, date of birth, Canadian address with correctly formatted postal code, phone, and email.
- Create your login credentials. Record them somewhere durable.
- If a branch or centre field appears, choose ํ์ด์กฐ์ (Pyeongchon Joeun). This step is not present in every country’s flow, so it may not appear for you. If it does, that is the entry to select.
- Submit and confirm. Watch for a confirmation email and note your member number.
Canadian details that cause friction
Postal code format
Canadian postal codes alternate letters and digits and are conventionally written with a space in the middle. Forms are inconsistent about whether they want that space. If validation rejects your code, try it the other way before assuming something is broken.
Province selection
Choose your province from the dropdown rather than typing it into a free-text line. Provinces entered as text in an address field are a recurring source of delivery problems.
French-language forms
Depending on how you arrive, you may encounter interface elements in French. The registration-type labels translate predictably — the shopping-side option will read as the consumer or member equivalent. If you are unsure which option you are looking at, do not guess: check with us first.
Name matching
Use your name exactly as it appears on government identification. Variations that seem harmless at sign-up become verification friction later.
Consumer or Distributor: the actual difference
This is worth stating plainly because it is misrepresented often. Choosing Distributor does not unlock better pricing. Both registration types shop at the same member pricing. What Distributor does is additionally register you on the business side of the structure.
For most Canadians, Consumer is the right starting point. It costs the same, gets the same products, and leaves the decision about the business side for a time when you actually have information. Switching later is a normal supported change — you do not re-apply. The structure itself is described on our marketing plan page.
Once you’re in
Your membership persists without purchases. There is no quota, no monthly spend, and no lapse for inactivity in the sense people usually fear. Our page on keeping membership active covers what genuinely matters.
The sensible first purchase is something you already buy. Browse the categories, pick one household staple, and form your own view rather than relying on anyone’s enthusiasm, including ours.
If you hit a wall
Canadian registration problems are usually a postal code the validator dislikes, a province typed rather than selected, or a confirmation email in a spam folder. Try a different browser with autofill turned off before concluding the system is at fault.
If you are stuck on the registration-type screen specifically and cannot tell which option is which, that is exactly the moment to contact us rather than guess. Tell us what the options say verbatim.
